Happy New Year District 1!

I hope your holiday season was a blessed one! The vacation was short and I know some of you need a vacation, to rest up from your vacation, but thank God we had a break. Thanks to everyone who submitted their membership by December 31, 2009. This deadline was not set to torment us in any way, but to fit the time frame of our legislators. Remember, we can not ask our legislators to support us, if we do not support ourselves.

Well, everyone, the Aloha spirit is on the horizon. Can't you hear that Hawaiian music as you hum that tune, and feel the breeze coming off the water brushing against your face? It's time to catch the "Wave of Change" and start preparing to go to conference. NCATA has heard your cry for change and tailored this year's conference time so everyone should be able to attend without jeopardizing our jobs. So look for the new schedule in this newsletter and get on board with change. Register online next month and let your family, friends, and co-workers know that you are going to attend one of the best conferences ever given by an organization, The NCATA 2010 CONFERENCE!
