Greetings to everyone in District 2! I hope everyone had a restful and productive summer and has settled back into the working mode. Thank you for voting me in as your District 2 president. I look forward to working with you and for you in the upcoming 2 years. Plans are in the making for our first district meeting of the school year, to be held on September 19 at Northwest Elementary School in Lenoir County. This year we are planning to have a mini conference along with our membership drive. We will have a motivational speaker along with two "make it, take it" workshops. You will receive 2 CEUs. Lots of door prizes and gifts will be given out during the day, a 50/50 will be raffled off, and one free membership will be given away at the closing of the workshops. Membership is so important to NCATA. Remember, our numbers count! Come find out how to win $100.00 for recruiting the most new memberships. It is also time to sell our raffle tickets. Please make sure to get these from your county president. Let's make our membership rally and mini conference an exciting event! Lunch will also be served. Please try and bring someone with you that has never been to one of our district meetings. I look forward to seeing you in September! Thank you for all you do for District 2.
