Ladies and Gentlemen of District III

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and welcome you back from your summer break. I am Carnell Darden, your new President, and I am looking forward to working with you and to having a great year. I hope that everyone had a great summer and that you spent some much-needed quality time with family and or friends. This has truly been a year of change as many of you will attest. These are very crucial times for NCATA, District III and for us all. With so much uncertainty, we much forge on and do what only we can do best -- that is to take care of the children! There have been a lot of changes within the District all of which are beyond our control. There are officers' positions and committee member positions that need to be filled. If you or if you know of someone that would be interested in being nominated for one of these positions and furthering the cause of NCATA, please contact me (contact info on Page 2). The positions are Vice President, Secretary and Parliamentarian. We hope to secure a place for our first district meeting that will be centrally located in the district to accommodate all who wish to attend. These meeting will be open to all District 3 members and future members. We will finalized by the middle of September. So arm yourself and prepare to do battle -- we lost a small scrimmage but we did not lose the war. I hope you will join me as I try to lead this district to higher heights and deeper depths. Remember, this your association and it will be only as great as you make it. Encourage one another, and look to this web site for future updates as we bring our vision into fruition.
