A Message from Your President . . .
"Here I Go Again" (Whitesnake, 1982). Wow! It's hard to believe that it is time for conference once again. I am so looking forward to seeing each one of you with your best 80's look in LA Gear jeans, Member's Only jackets and who could forget Ocean Pacific (my son tells me the cool kids called it OP). I have been looking back at my 80's photos and wow, I looked a lot younger and much thinner. But what was I thinking with that hair? And for those that know me, you know I will be sporting 80's gear all weekend!
I hope each one of you will start making your plans now for our 30th conference and to "Walk Like An Egyptian" (The Bangles, 1986) all the way to Greensboro. Bring someone new with you this year; I know that once they come they will "Walk This Way" (Run-D.M.C., 1986) every year!
Remember, "Don't Stop Believing" (Journey, 1981) in the purpose of this conference and that "Sweet Child O' Mine" (Gun's N Roses, 1987) will ultimately benefit from your attendance. So I hope to see you all there as we're "Burning Down the House" (Talking Heads, 1983)...
